Join the Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin team as an Auxiliary Housing Maintenance Technician in Dawson, YT, focusing on essential maintenance and community support initiatives. This position allows you to utilize your trade skills in a flexible auxiliary role.

As part of the Housing & Infrastructure department, you will work closely with the Housing Maintenance Coordinator to address maintenance orders for TH properties. Ideal candidates will have skills in carpentry and plumbing and a desire to engage in community service at TH events. This role encourages independent work as well as teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute work orders for property maintenance
• Undertake renovations and repairs for housing units




• Participate in community support at TH gatherings
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools
• Collaborate with the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator as needed

Requirements:
• Grade 10-12 completion or equivalent experience
• Training in building trades, including plumbing and carpentry
• Experience in maintenance and repair tasks
• Robust knowledge of safety practices
• Class 5 driver's license and clear driving record
