Position

DuBois Chemicals Canada is offering an 8-12 month co-op position.

The position will be based in our Vancouver office with some opportunity for local travel.

The candidate will be part of a technical Project Management team, working alongside Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and the Manager of the Project Management Office.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Component selection and sourcing

Preparation of quotations

Preparation of 3D models of piping assemblies in AutoCAD

Preparation of BOMs of piping assemblies

Project Coordination (task tracking, minute preparation, schedule updates)

Backup for Shipping/Receiving

Equipment troubleshooting and testing

Participation in customer service and technical issue resolution

Hands on assembly and testing of piping and instrumentation

Requirements:

Minimum two-year completion of a Mechanical, Materials,



Electrical or Chemical Engineering program

Laboratory experience is desirable

Hands-on mechanical aptitude is required

Solid problem-solving skills and attention to details is required

Ability to work to deadlines, sense of urgency

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

AutoCAD experience is an asset

Proficiency with MS Office applications

Excellent communication skills

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay Range: $23.00 - 25.00/HR
