As the Capacity Development Project Officer, you will enhance municipalities' abilities to finance climate resilience projects. This role requires delivering tailored training and support to municipal teams, and fostering solid relationships with stakeholders. Your background in adult education and capacity building will be pivotal in driving successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct workshops and webinars for municipal staff
• Create educational resources on financing adaptation
• Support stakeholder engagement in program design
• Evaluate capacity building initiatives
• Manage event logistics and team coordination
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
• Degree in environmental studies or public administration
• Familiar with climate adaptation strategies
• Experience in group facilitation and training
• Bilingual capability in English and French
