Position Summary: Assists the maintenance department in performing duties that include, but are not limited to, preventative maintenance, breakdowns, new installations and restorations.
General Duties: Has knowledge of all farm operations, equipment, and maintenance responsibilities

Has low voltage electrical experience and knowledge; completes minor electrical jobs

Performs minor and major repairs on buildings and equipment unsupervised including, but not limited to, welding, replacing and repairing parts, hydraulics, pneumatics, low voltage electrical, and equipment, buildings and facilities

Assists in training new maintenance associates

Completes preventative maintenance duties and completes checklists as assigned

Performs operational checks on boilers as scheduled (L, K only)

Evaluates jobs and determines requirements

Observes and reports any issues on farm

May operate a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems

Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required





Assists and supports contractors

Assists in verifying that smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are operable, as requested

Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age.

Must be eligible to work in Canada without restrictions.

Hours of Work: 5 days / week, Friday to Tuesday, 4:00pm-12:00am

Public Holidays / Weekends as scheduled

Daily shift end times vary based on production needs

Earnings: $34.50 - $39.73 Hourly

Shift premium of $0.50 after hours worked after 6:00pm
