Become a part-time Community Health Worker with the Vancouver Island Health Authority, aiding clients in daily living. This role involves crucial travel, focusing on patient independence from 7 PM to 11 PM.
You'll join a committed health care team responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their homes. This includes executing delegated tasks and developing effective plans of care. A valid BC driver's license and Home Support/Resident Care Attendant certification are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with personal care and daily living
• Implement care plans under multidisciplinary guidance
• Travel regularly between various health care sites
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families
• Uphold safety and quality in all services provided
Requirements:
• Certificate in Health Care Assistance or equivalent
• Valid BC driver's license and Food Secure Certificate
• Current registration in good standing with the BC Care Aide Registry
• Ability to perform physical job requirements
• Capable of working independently
