This contract position, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, is crucial for improving community access to employment. You will utilize your experience in career counseling and understanding of labor market trends to guide clients through their job search journey effectively, ensuring equity in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build trust and rapport with jobseekers
• Manage client caseloads and job readiness stages
• Prepare clients for employment through action plans
• Engage with employers to secure job placements
• Complete necessary documentation and data entry
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work or related field
• Experience in career counseling and job development
• Knowledge of labor market trends for vulnerable populations
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
