**Refrigeration Mechanic (313A/313D & G2)**

**About the Role**
Are you a licensed Refrigeration Mechanic looking for a role that offers variety, technical challenges, and career growth? We're seeking a skilled professional to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and install commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems across healthcare, institutional, manufacturing, and commercial facilities throughout the Ottawa region.

**Key Responsibilities**
Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment, including chillers.

Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.

Work with BAS, DDC controls, VFDs, and related systems.

Respond to emergency service calls and provide effective repair solutions.

Complete service documentation and maintain safety standards.

Mentor apprentices and support team development.

Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
**Qualifications**
5+ years of refrigeration/HVAC service experience.

Valid 313A or 313D Refrigeration License.

Valid G2 Gas Technician License.

Valid driver's license.

Strong troubleshooting skills in refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and control systems.

Experience with commercial and industrial equipment, including chillers.

Knowledge of BAS/DDC controls and VFDs.

Ability to work independently and deliver excellent customer service.

Eligible for Reliability Security Clearance.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toronto, ON.
**Pay and Perks**




The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $64.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
