Insight Global is seeking a Pursuit Specialist on behalf of a leading engineering and consulting organization.

This is a newly created role designed to support the company's continued growth by centralizing opportunity identification, proposal enablement, and pursuit coordination across the business.

Reporting into the Corporate and Client Development team, the Pursuit Specialist will play a key role in maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities by monitoring bid portals, facilitating opportunity qualification discussions, and developing reusable proposal content that enables efficient and high-quality submissions.

This position is ideal for a professional with experience in the engineering consulting, professional services, or consulting industry who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders, building relationships, organizing information, and supporting business growth initiatives.

Skills and Requirements
Required Qualifications




3+ years of experience in proposal coordination, pursuit management, business development support, marketing, or related functions.

Previous experience within an engineering consulting firm, professional services organization, architecture firm, environmental consulting firm, or similar consulting setting.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across various departments.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Power

Point, and Excel.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor public and private bid portals, tender platforms, and keyword alerts to identify relevant RFP, RFQ, and proposal opportunities.

Coordinate internal stakeholders to evaluate opportunities and facilitate go/no-go decision-making discussions.

Support business development and leadership teams by maintaining a consistent flow of qualified opportunities within the pursuit pipeline.

Build, organize, and continuously enhance a centralized proposal content library, including: Project descriptions and case studies
Employee biographies and resumes
Corporate qualifications
Reusable proposal content and templates
Collaborate with technical and operational teams to gather information required for proposal development.

Translate complex engineering and technical information into clear, compelling, and easily understood language for broader audiences.

Assist in developing proposal messaging and positioning strategies that increase competitiveness and differentiate the organization.

Partner with proposal and project administration teams to ensure proposal materials are complete and readily available for submission.

Support ongoing improvements to pursuit and proposal processes, tools, and best practices.
