Seasonal, Monday to Friday, approximately 8-10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

- Operate a municipal mower and perform grass and roadside mowing as required.
- Responsible for the safe operations of Municipal owned equipment
- Work safely in and around municipal roadways, rights-of-way, and other municipal work areas.
- Assisting with minor maintenance and equipment repairs
- Perform general shop cleaning and yard maintenance.
- Picking rocks and debris
- Protect personal health and safety, as well as the health and safety of others, by following safe work practices and maintaining a protected workplace.
- Completing manual labour tasks as assigned
- Assisting with road repairs, culvert installations, and other duties assigned by Council and the Foreman

Qualifications





- Ability to perform physical labour in outdoor conditions
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with a willingness to follow directions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to operate a variety of maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
- Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence required
- Previous experience is considered an asset, but is not required
- Successful applicants must be willing to receive training and certification on equipment as required
