Act as a key liaison between Finance, Sales Audit, IT development teams, external service providers, and other business stakeholders.
Gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into functional system requirements and practical technology solutions.
Review existing Finance and Sales Audit workflows, processes, controls, and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.
Participate in the planning and implementation of Finance and Sales Audit technology projects across a multi-brand retail environment.
Manage smaller business-led projects through scope definition, objectives, resource planning, implementation, testing, and reporting.
Identify opportunities to introduce AI tools, AI agents, automation, and intelligent workflows within Finance and Sales Audit processes.
Use AI-enabled tools to support requirements gathering, process analysis, research, test planning, documentation, and business case development.
Champion the practical adoption of AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency, reporting, controls, insights, and decision-making.
Evaluate technology and process improvement opportunities, including business impact, cost-benefit considerations, timelines, and resource requirements.
Develop workflows, functional specifications, process documentation, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and training materials.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement business solutions that address both immediate requirements and underlying operational needs.
Develop and enhance departmental reporting, including key performance indicators and operational measures.
Design and support financial and operational dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP BI, or comparable platforms.
Define and coordinate quality assurance and testing requirements with business users, IT development teams, and external partners.
Manage the full user acceptance testing cycle, including test case development, regression testing, issue documentation, and user sign-off.
Replicate, investigate, and document application issues and coordinate workable resolutions with appropriate technical and business teams.
Maintain ownership of system issues through resolution and elevate usability, functionality, or performance concerns where required.
Assist with troubleshooting across internal development teams, external service providers, business subject matter experts, and QA teams.
Serve as a functional resource for Finance and Sales Audit applications and support user training and documentation where required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or recognized Business Analyst certification.
Minimum four years of Business Systems Analyst experience, ideally supporting Finance, Sales Audit, Internal Audit, or related business functions.
Hands‑on Business Systems Analyst experience within a software development or systems implementation environment.
Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements, functional requirements, workflows, use cases, and testing scenarios.
Experience supporting Finance-related technology projects, including internal and third‑party system integrations.
Demonstrated experience managing user acceptance testing, regression testing, issue resolution, and business sign‑off.
Robust understanding of the software development lifecycle and business systems implementation processes.
Preferred Experience
Experience with Sales Audit or Financial Management platforms such as Lawson Financials, Oracle Xstore, Oracle Sales Audit, Medius AP, Crystal Reports, SAP BI, or comparable applications.
Experience within retail, apparel, consumer products, or another multi‑location and multi‑brand environment.
Working knowledge of APIs, SQL, data warehousing, and cloud‑based platforms.
Experience using business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP BI.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration and issue‑tracking platforms.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, SQL Server tools, and related analytical applications.
Exposure to AI tools, prompt‑based applications, AI agents, chatbots, or workflow automation within a business workplace.
