Become a Child Care Worker (PAL) at BGC Okanagan's OK Falls Club in British Columbia. Engage with children in a fun and supportive atmosphere focused on their growth and creativity.
This casual position involves supervising school-age children, planning and leading activities that foster development and community. You will be instrumental in creating a welcoming setting while ensuring the safety of children. Responsibilities include liaising with parents and community service providers, as well as transporting children to various recreational sites using Club Vans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Care for and supervise children aged 6 to 12
• Organize activities and events for program enrichment
• Transport children safely with Club Vans
• Recruit and support program volunteers
• Communicate openly with families and caregivers
Requirements:
• Diploma or relevant experience in child care
• Minimum age of 19 required
• First Aid and Food Safe certification needed
• Class 4 Driver’s Licence
• Passing of agency screening process
