The International Student Navigator supports international students in various aspects, ranging from cultural adjustment to immigration compliance. You will work closely with departments including the Student Connect Centre to ensure students receive tailored support throughout their educational journey. This role requires both proactive engagement and effective problem-solving to enhance the overall student experience at Red Deer Polytechnic.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance on cultural adjustment and program information
• Anticipate and respond to student needs proactively




• Facilitate communication with international students pre-departure
• Advocate for student rights and responsibilities in the community
• Offer immigration advice for Study Permits and Visas

Requirements:
• Four-year degree or equivalent with relevant experience
• Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor (RISIA) designation
• Minimum two years of experience with international students preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
• Robust problem-solving and relationship-building skills
