In this position, reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for cooking, serving meals, and ensuring the kitchen meets health and safety standards. Your interaction with guests and volunteers will foster a supportive atmosphere as you manage meal planning and food availability while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, cook, and serve meals and beverages daily
• Ensure cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining spaces
• Oversee and support kitchen volunteers
• Maintain food availability for guests after hours
• Follow menus and manage required supplies

Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education with Cooking Diploma
• Two years of recent culinary experience
• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1
• Valid FOODSAFE Certificate from Health Department
• Clearance required for Vulnerable Sector background
