Candidates are responsible for the provision of food services to youth aged 12- 17, and staff at the Young Offender’s Facility, and catering Youth Justice functions.
Job requirement Candidates must have journeyman Cook Certification (Red Seal).
They must have recent experience preparing meals for individuals and/or groups in a commercial or Institutional setting (including hotel, restaurant, camp, catering or cafeteria setting.




They must wear cooking scrubs.
They must have the capability of heavy lifting.
They are responsible for using cleaning chemicals such as Bleach, EP50
Work setting Candidates may be assessed on knowledge of food preparation, serving and storage (Food safe)
They should have the ability to understand written and oral instructions.
They should have the ability to work individually and in a team setting.
They may be assessed on Self-motivated and adaptable to change.
