Join the Standards Council of Canada as a Validation and Verification Accreditation Assessor. Focus on evaluating greenhouse gas methodologies and help clients achieve key certification.

This contractual position is available for individuals with substantial experience in VVB settings. Assessors will apply their technical knowledge in conformity assessments while working closely with the SCC team. You will assess clients against ISO 14065 and ISO/IEC 17029 requirements through detailed evaluations and audits.

Key Responsibilities:
• Define assessment criteria with the Lead Assessor
• Review quality management systems and operational procedures
• Audit personnel competency and relevant documentation




• Observe VVBs during witness audits for compliance
• Report findings and suggest improvements based on evaluations

Requirements:
• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid work VISA
• Relevant post-secondary degree required
• At least three years of experience in VVB or accreditation setting
• Familiarity with GHG assessment methodologies
• Strong knowledge of relevant ISO standards
