Become a vital part of UBC's Department of Medicine as a Postgraduate Scheduling Assistant. This role focuses on administrative support for a large medical training program, ensuring effective scheduling and curriculum management.

UBC is seeking a Postgraduate Scheduling Assistant to provide essential administrative support within the Internal Medicine Training Program at the Vancouver General Hospital Site. The program hosts over 50 current residents annually, making it one of Canada’s largest. You will oversee the academic curriculum, coordinate vital events, and assist with schedule management involving Lead Medical Residents at several key hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee logistics for Academic Half Day sessions
• Manage Educational Curriculum Committee scheduling




• Organize Objective Structured Clinical Examinations
• Coordinate monthly review meetings for residents
• Assist in PGY4 Journal Club arrangements

Requirements:
• Strong understanding of educational systems and policies
• Experience in coordinating schedules and events
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills
• Team collaboration with various hospital sites
