The Install Technician performs tasks associated with the installation of service truck bodies. This includes slip-in units and truck accessories (toolboxes, drawer packs, steps, etc.)forthe truck cab and chassis. The ability to troubleshoot and perform basic mechanical repairs. They meet company productivity, quality, and safety expectations while ensuring deadlines and procedures are maintained.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation of service truck body accessories (truck rails and boxes, running boards, trim, accessories, 12v & 110v switch panels)
Installation of service truck body equipment (hydraulic and electric cranes, inverter/revolt systems, evac systems, compressors)
Troubleshooting and performing service body mechanical repairs or refurbishing service bodies
Fabrication of equipment or service truck bodies
Work in the refurb/installation department. Troubleshoot and find solutions to any refurb, or mechanical/service issues.
Shop clean-up
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Has reliable transportation
Clean non-GDL driver’s abstract (3-year)
Own tools
