We are always searching for dynamic and dedicated individuals to join our ever-growing Bird Nason Contracting Group team.

Bird Nason Contracting Group is currently looking for a Workforce Coordinator to join their team based out of our Edmonton, Westlink office. Responsible for supporting the end-to-end recruitment and workforce onboarding process, including candidate screening, pre-employment compliance, and applicant tracking system (ATS) administration. This role coordinates safety ticket collection and validation, conducts candidate pre-screens, maintains ATS records and job postings, manages candidate documentation and resume uploads, screens resumes, and retrieves and reviews pre-access requirements such as drug and alcohol testing results and fit-for-duty assessments. The position also supports project mobilization activities by establishing recent projects and testing programs within SureHire and ensuring all onboarding requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.

What You Will Be Working On

Follow up on and validate safety certifications and training records.

Conduct candidate pre-screen interviews and assessments.

Maintain ATS data,



create job postings, and set up new requisitions.

Upload resumes and supporting documentation.

Screen resumes against job requirements and project needs.

Retrieve and review pre-access results, including drug and alcohol testing and fit test assessments.

Coordinate project and testing set-up within SureHire.

Ensure onboarding documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company requirements.

What We Are Looking For

Completion of a post-secondary program (business, human resources, administration, or related field preferred)

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Experience working with software and proficient with Microsoft suite - Word, Excel and Outlook

High attention to detail, particularly for documentation accuracy and compliance

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Ability to grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups

Adaptable, proactive, and willing to learn quickly

Comfortable working with confidential information

Experience through volunteer work, student organizations, administrative roles, or event coordination is an asset

Exposure to high volume environments or roles requiring multitasking

Experience or interest in construction, trades, safety programs, workforce planning, or skilled trades is considered an asset, but prior industry experience is not required.
