Contribute to patient care as a Sleep Technician at Medigas in Barrie or Newmarket, Ontario. Your role involves performing polysomnography studies, patient education, and troubleshooting equipment issues.

As a Sleep Technician, you'll engage directly with patients suffering from sleep disorders, providing critical support throughout their diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Your responsibilities include setting up sleep studies, monitoring overnight sessions, and ensuring compliance with pre- and post-study documentation. You'll also coordinate patient appointments and address technical challenges to maintain quality data acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform polysomnography sleep studies with patient setup and monitoring




• Educate patients about procedures and answer their questions
• Titrate CPAP and other therapies as needed
• Resolve equipment issues for data accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sleep lab

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• RPsgT certification or in progress
• Current BCLS certification
• 1+ year experience in a sleep lab preferred
• Robust computer skills and troubleshooting capabilities
