Lead the way in underwater technology as an Advanced Control Systems Engineer with International Submarine Engineering in Port Coquitlam, BC. This position involves hands-on engagement in design, testing, and integration of control systems for subsea applications.
As a key team member at ISE, you will focus on developing control architectures for autonomous vehicles and engage in close collaboration with other engineering disciplines. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and the use of state-of-the-art technologies to meet industry demands for reliable and productive underwater solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design architectures for AUVs, ROVs, and payloads
• Troubleshoot and configure control systems
• Develop test procedures for verification and validation
• Analyze complex control issues and improve systems
• Generate engineering documentation and control specs
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering field
• Over 5 years of experience in control system development
• Versatile in integrating software with hardware
• Experience in marine applications preferred
• Eligible for necessary security clearances
