Take charge of electrical substation design as a Designer II focused on protection and control systems. Offer your expertise in metering, schematics, and project coordination.
As a Designer II at our organization, you will manage design tasks for electrical substations, specializing in protection schematics and wiring diagrams. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed reports, developing outage staging plans, and ensuring that project specifications are met. You will work directly with multidisciplinary teams and clients, contributing to successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and coordinate metering and protection systems
• Create and review technical specifications
• Participate in design reviews and safety sessions
• Manage assigned project tasks effectively
• Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT)
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in power systems
• Registered or in-process EIT
• Familiarity with utility standards such as CSA, IEEE
• Adaptable communication skills in multidisciplinary settings
