Installation and service of entire heating, ventilation, refrigeration and AC systems.
Assemble and install refrigeration or AC components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools.
Measure and cut piping, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
Start-up system and test for leaks using testing devices.
Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing.
Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, AC, ventilation or heat pump systems.
Conduct oneself in a qualified manner as this is customer oriented position. Able to communicate easily with customers, while on site or by phone. May do site visits and prepare estimates for clients.Each task completed with thorough efficiency.
Able to communicate with colleagues and office staff easily.
Able to give updates on each job and communicate with office staff on what is required for each.
During quiet times, other tasks may be assigned on site, or to work with other staff and their tasks.
Depending on location and length of time a job takes to complete, there may be days where hours may extend the normal end of the workday.
Pay dependant on certification and experience. Driver License mandatory and comfortable driving commercial vehicles.
