Become a Children's Services Worker at Kunuwanimano, focusing on equity and respect for First Nations children's care. This full time role necessitates a commitment to cultural relevance and community connection.

In this position, you will serve a meaningful role within Kunuwanimano and build positive relationships with First Nations councils and agencies. Your work will include addressing children's emotional and educational needs while providing crucial counseling services. You will also support Family Services Workers in creating plans of care tailored for each child.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish rapport with children and families in diverse settings
• Participate in investigations of abuse allegations
• Develop and monitor treatment plans based on children's needs




• Facilitate family access for children under Agency care
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or equivalent training
• Two years of relevant experience in child welfare
• Must have valid Ontario Driver's license and insurance
• Successful Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Familiarity with Indigenous languages is beneficial
