What this job involves: As a Senior Facilities Manager at JLL supporting the Amazon Global Real Estate & Facilities account, you will manage all high-performing operational aspects of the assigned sites within the account owned and/or occupied portfolio in accordance with the requirements of all local regulations while overseeing the teams supporting your area of responsibility including FM, AFMs, Facilities & Engineering Coordinators. This comprehensive facilities leadership role combines operational excellence with strategic client partnership, requiring you to exhibit exceptional customer and stakeholder service and communication as a client-facing professional while supporting the IFM team to ensure clear management and ownership in driving internal operations and delivering services to the highest possible standards within adequate timeframes. What your day-to-day will look like: Provide appropriate level of staffing in numbers and skill sets in alignment with Client to handle IFM Services, work volume and KPIs while ensuring team capability and development
Develop and implement plans for continuous process improvement, cost reduction and efficiency, innovation and benchmarking to drive operational excellence across the portfolio
Fully support Client's initiatives in effective and efficient fashion to drive operational excellence and meet leadership principles while maintaining strong client relationships
Challenge and improve all aspects of cost and performance of business while developing and executing annual Team Strategic Plan aligned with organizational objectives
Monitor PPM schedules, O&M;'s, warranties, Task System, Asset & Life Cycle Registers while ensuring Health & Safety compliance and regulatory adherence across all sites
Proactively manage spend and budget locally in line with JLL policies including processing of PO's, invoices, budgets, and service charges while identifying cost savings opportunities
Demonstrate leadership, give direction and mentor JLL team on site to promote engagement and excellence in customer service while fostering professional development
Ensure and facilitate excellent communications with clients according to key stakeholders strategy while maintaining relevant information flow and setting appropriate expectations
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Facilities Management experience including interaction with senior-level management and managing hard and soft services in corporate offices or commercial real estate environments
Ability to react quickly and decisively when faced with problem or issue while working off own initiative with minimal supervision in fast-paced operational settings
Strong team player with commitment to support colleagues and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines while maintaining service quality and stakeholder satisfaction
Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing services with strong leadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage technical teams
Experience in customer facing environment within technical FM services with ability to display initiative, confidence, and professionalism in all client interactions
Ability to plan and manage financials within budget and time constraints while identifying cost savings opportunities and ensuring fiscal responsibility
Experience with contract management, vendor management and small capital projects with computer proficiency in MS Office and CMMS or similar facilities management systems
Preferred Qualifications: Experience coordinating, participating and engaging with IFM meeting cadence including operational, strategic and best practice forums that drive continuous improvement
Knowledge of Building Management Systems, PPM Schedules, Task System, EHS and Quality Compliance with statutory compliance understanding and regulatory awareness
Background in Health & Safety during events including contractor supervision and reviewing H&S; documentation to ensure secure working environments
Understanding of office housekeeping and cleanliness delivery to highest standards with soft services functions experience including catering, cleaning, and mail services
Experience networking with regional workplace experience team to ensure soft services delivered on time, on budget and to quality standards
Knowledge of benchmarking practices within JLL accounts with proposal improvements capability and innovation identification that enhances service delivery
Understanding of Client's Rhythm of Business as foundation for enabling information flow and setting stakeholder expectations aligned with business priorities
Experience developing close working relationships with Client Key Stakeholders, Landlord, Managing Agents and FM vendors to support seamless service delivery

Estimated compensation for this position: 104,500.00 – 142,000.00 CAD per year This range represents the estimated base salary and actual compensation may differ. Final base salary is determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations. Some roles and employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, benefits, or other compensation.
