Join Campbell River Public Health as a Hearing Screener and Program Assistant focused on children's health. Your role supports administrative tasks as well as essential hearing screenings.

As a Program Assistant, you will provide important clerical assistance to the Preventative and Perinatal Services Program. Reporting to the Team Leader, your responsibilities include booking appointments, maintaining supply inventories, and conducting scheduled hearing and vision screenings for children. You will interact closely with families and healthcare professionals across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with health standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in conducting hearing screenings for newborns and children
• Manage appointment bookings and client databases




• Support program by maintaining inventories of supplies
• Collaborate with families and community health professionals
• Follow established screening protocols and practices

Requirements:
• Grade 12 degree with Medical Office Assistant Certificate
• Minimum of two years of relevant administrative experience
• Current BC Class 5 Driver's License
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
