As part of the Senior Snow Removal Program, the Town of Ajax is looking for dedicated Senior Snow Workers. Responsibilities include snow clearing from seniors’ properties and municipal areas, conducting maintenance tasks, and assisting fellow workers in various projects. Candidates must be prepared to work flexible hours and respond to snowfall conditions on short notices, which adds dynamic aspects to this temporary seasonal position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Effectively clear snow from designated areas for seniors
• Operate trucks for snow and litter collection




• Conduct maintenance on Town’s waste containers
• Support horticulture and forestry tasks when needed
• Assist with maintaining park facilities and trails

Requirements:
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Clean Ontario Class ‘G’ driver's license
• Capability to lift heavy items, up to 50 lbs
• Positive flexibility and time management skills
• Willing to work outdoors in winter conditions
