About Our Family
We are a loving family in Vaughan preparing to welcome our second child in mid-October via C-section. We have an active, sweet 2.5-year-old toddler boy and are hiring an experienced nanny to join our home.
We want to start our nanny part time as soon as possible so our toddler can build a comfortable, trusting routine with you before the baby arrives.
Once the baby is delivered in mid-October, the position officially transitions into a minimum 3-month full-time contract to support our family through postpartum recovery.
We maintain an active, non-digital environment for our toddler, with outdoor play focused entirely on our home property/backyard.
Key Responsibilities
1. Toddler & Newborn Care
Active In-Home & Backyard Engagement:
Planning age-appropriate home and backyard activities for our toddler, including outdoor yard play, reading, sensory play, and crafts.
Feeding & Meals:
Preparing healthy lunches/snacks for our toddler, feeding him, and assisting with newborn bottle/breastmilk feedings as needed.
1. Household Organization & Child-Related Care
Kids' Laundry: Washing, folding, and putting away children's clothes, bibs, and linens.
Daily Tidying: Keeping play areas, bedrooms, and shared family spaces neat throughout the day.
Kitchen Upkeep: Washing baby bottles/pump parts, handling kids' dishes, and wiping down counters after meal prep.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
Availability:
Able to start part-time shortly and commit to a full-time.
Experience: Verifiable experience managing toddlers and infants simultaneously.
Certifications: Current Infant/Child CPR & First Aid, and a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
Traits: Proactive, organized, energetic, and reliable.
What We Offer
A warm, supportive family environment.
Paid trial days prior to finalizing the schedule.
****Thank you for reaching out to our family! Because I am currently in my third trimester, I am juggling limited time and our response times are running a bit behind. If we haven't connected yet, please bear with us—we value your time and look forward to reviewing your application.****
