The University of Ottawa is looking for three Teaching Assistants for the Mechanics course (PHY2333) this fall. Successful candidates will have completed four years of university-level Physics or an equivalent degree. The role involves preparation, grading assignments, and providing assistance to students during office hours, all aimed at enhancing learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mark and grade up to 60 hours of student work
• Prepare course materials for up to 24 hours
• Conduct up to 12 hours of office hours for student assistance
• Supervise final exams and assessments for 6 hours
• Assist with course evaluations and other duties as needed
Requirements:
• Completion of four years in University-level Physics
• Solid communication skills with students
• Ability to manage grading and preparation efficiently
• Proficiency in English necessary for the role
