Lead the U of A Ambassador program as a Coordinator for Volunteer Management, primarily on North Campus. This hybrid role fosters student engagement through effective recruitment and training.
As part of the National Recruitment unit, you will direct the recruitment, training, and recognition processes for student volunteers. Your insights will help develop strategies that enhance the volunteer experience while collaborating with campus partners for community events. You will play a significant role in connecting the university with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify volunteer needs across various initiatives
• Execute annual recruitment and training activities
• Coordinate community engagement events for Ambassadors
• Provide robust support to volunteer teams through mentorship
• Create communication plans to enhance volunteer involvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or related diploma with experience
• One year in a post-secondary setting preferred
• Robust facilitation and public speaking skills
• Supervisory experience managing volunteers is beneficial
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and social networking tools
