Job Description
Senior leader responsible for trust accounting, payment operations, business resiliency, regulatory compliance, and governance oversight within a global money movement environment.

This role partners closely with finance, technology, legal, compliance, and operations teams to drive strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and risk management while leading a geographically dispersed team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead trust accounting, client funds management, payment operations, cash forecasting, reconciliations, and reporting activities.

Drive large-scale strategic initiatives that improve operational efficiency, scalability, resiliency, and compliance.

Oversee business continuity, disaster recovery planning, testing, and operational resilience programs.

Partner with product, technology, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to implement process improvements and enterprise-wide initiatives.

Identify and mitigate operational, financial, regulatory, and compliance risks, including payment services and AML-related requirements.

Establish and maintain governance frameworks, internal controls, and regulatory compliance programs.

Present recommendations, business cases, and risk assessments to senior leadership.

Lead, mentor, and develop global teams while building succession plans and strengthening organizational capabilities.

Skills and Requirements
-8+ years of progressive leadership experience managing complex, cross-functional business initiatives.
-5+ years leading teams within a regulated, risk-sensitive environment, preferably payments, banking, trust accounting, or financial services.
-Strong background in governance, compliance, audit management, and control frameworks (SOX, SOC1).
-Experience overseeing payment operations, client funds management, cash forecasting, reconciliations, and operational controls.
-Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive results across multiple functions without direct authority.
-Strong executive communication, presentation, risk management, and decision-making skills.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA preferred.
CPA or equivalent skilled accounting designation preferred.
