Contribute to meaningful health policy initiatives as a Strategic Public Policy Advisor with Peel Region. This hybrid role focuses on policy analysis, advocacy, and building partnerships across health services.

In this full time contract position, you will provide strategic policy support to the Health Leadership Team and Regional Council. With a focus on public health legislation and community well-being, your expertise will guide research and synthesize complex policy issues. Collaborating with both internal and external partners, you'll drive advancements in health advocacy and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic policy support to leadership and Regional Council
• Monitor legislative and political trends impacting health services




• Manage advocacy projects aligning with corporate priorities
• Research and synthesize complex health policy issues
• Collaborate with partners to enhance policy responses

Requirements:
• University degree in public policy or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in public policy or research
• Proficient in MS Office software
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of local health systems
