In this role, you will be involved in a variety of laboratory support functions under the guidance of the Manager. Key tasks include performing limited testing, processing specimens, and assisting in equipment maintenance. Your commitment to health and safety protocols will ensure effective patient outcomes while observing confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Point Of Care and electrocardiogram tests
• Sort and process laboratory specimens accurately
• Dispense and manage laboratory supplies and reagents




• Observe and uphold hospital policies and safety standards
• Handle equipment maintenance and report management tasks

Requirements:
• Completion of Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician program
• Certification with MLPAO or CSMLS in good standing
• Experience in Point of Care tasks preferred
• Strong verbal communication with medical personnel
• Ability to manage clerical duties quickly and accurately
