Under the supervision of the Director of Technical Services, the Detailer/Draftsman works closely with project managers to carry out their projects.

More specifically, the Detailer/Draftsman will be responsible for:

Produce rebar layout drawings in accordance with plans and specifications;

Receive, analyze, and approve bid and construction drawings, verifying any modifications made from the start of projects;

Work closely with the project manager to produce technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, while ensuring the accuracy of the information and compliance with standards and principles related to rebar;

Prepare purchase orders for steel fabrication at the plant, taking into account the required diameters, lengths, and bends;

Provide the technical expertise necessary for the fabrication and installation of rebar;





Master work processes, demonstrate adaptability, and ensure effective project management in accordance with established timelines;

Perform any other related tasks associated with the position.

Work location: Châteauguay, QC

DEP in architectural drafting or any other program deemed equivalent.

Have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role;

Be proficient in AutoCAD and demonstrate a positive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;

Demonstrate a strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze technical drawings;

Have experience in the rebar industry (considered an asset).
