Job Responsibilities

Manage and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management

Create comprehensive financial plans and provide exceptional client service

Deliver CIBC’s Imperial Service approach for a large portfolio

Proactively engage recent and existing clients to understand their goals

Build financial plans using advanced CIBC tools

Provide advice to support well-informed client decisions

Develop local-market sales plans to convert leads into new clients

Use relationship-building and networking to create opportunities and deliver results

Leverage credit and investment solutions through a needs-based approach

Attend local community events and participate in marketing and outreach activities

Grow the network to generate future opportunities

Work on-site full-time at CIBC banking centres

Requirements

Postsecondary degree/diploma and/or 4 years of relevant experience

Current accreditation and good standing as a Registered Representative (RR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID)

Personal Financial Planner (PFP), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) designation

For Quebec: current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing

For Quebec: successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF licensing

For Quebec: Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC)

CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774)



and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790) are assets

Legal eligibility to work at the specified location(s)

Valid work or study permit where applicable

Willingness and flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends

Flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance
