Become integral to Canada Life's cyber defense team as an Information Security Analyst. This role entails monitoring threats and coordinating incident responses to protect the organization.
Reporting to the Director of Security Event Management, you'll engage in real-time intrusion detection and response strategies. Candidates should possess extensive knowledge of security technologies, network protocols, and significant experience in threat management tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-managed, and has robust communication capabilities to provide situational awareness across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze potential cybersecurity intrusions
• Respond to incidents, coordinating remediation efforts
• Provide reports on cybersecurity status and KPIs
• Configure and maintain security technologies effectively
• Identify suspicious activities through data sources
Requirements:
• Minimum four years in Information Technology
• Knowledge of network protocols and operating systems
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and incident management
• Experience with security event triage and investigation
• Relevant Information Security Certifications preferred
