About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Specialist with expertise in food processing environments to join their production facility in Kimberley . This role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety, ensuring the integrity and quality of food products. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing all sanitation procedures, managing cleaning schedules, and ensuring compliance with stringent food safety regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a thorough understanding of HACCP, GMP, and other relevant food safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive sanitation programs for food processing equipment and facilities.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including HACCP, GMP, and local health codes.
Oversee the cleaning and sanitization of production lines, machinery, and the overall plant environment.
Manage the inventory and proper use of cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies.
Train sanitation team members on proper procedures, safety protocols, and effective use of equipment.




Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify sanitation effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in sanitation within the food processing industry .
Strong knowledge of food safety principles, including HACCP, GMP, and allergen control.
Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Ability to develop and implement effective sanitation protocols .
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in food safety or sanitation is preferred.
