Vancouver Coastal Health invites applications for the Care Aide position in our Long Term Care facilities. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, providing critical assistance with personal care tasks. Other key responsibilities involve monitoring clients and ensuring their workplace remains safe and clean.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and feeding
• Observe and report changes in client conditions
• Answer call bells and alarms in a timely manner




• Operate equipment to ensure client mobility and safety
• Maintain cleanliness throughout client care areas

Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant Program
• Eligible for registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Physical ability to fulfill the job duties
• Organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently
