CDN is hiring Instrumentation Technicians in Fort St John, BC. This role involves maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of essential instrumentation systems in a full-service energy company.
We welcome 3rd and 4th year apprentices and journeyperson electricians to apply. In this position, you will assist in the installation of complex systems and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Your strong knowledge of gas and fire detection systems will be pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency on various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to EHS policies and procedures
• Support the installation of instrumentation and tubing
• Calibrate and test advanced systems independently
• Troubleshoot instrumentation with minimal supervision
• Maintain compliance documentation for projects
Requirements:
• Certification as an Instrumentation Technician or Apprentice
• Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract
• H2S and First Aid certifications required
• Familiarity with construction in the oil and gas sector
• Ability to work in diverse weather and height conditions
