Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specification for custom millwork
Utilize woodshop equipment and tools to build custom cabinets and woodworks
Operate woodworking machines and tools
Repair and style cabinets, fixtures, and furniture
Trim, assemble and join wood and other materials
Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer/polish to finished products
Ensure the standards of design and quality are met
Maintain a safe and clean working workplace
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
3+ years' experience of custom cabinetmaking and woodworking machinery
Experience with high-end cabinetry and finishes
Completion of secondary school
Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications, and estimate materials required for projects
Strong problem solving and time management skills
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Physically able to handle heavy loads
Valid driver's licence
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work activities will require manual dexterity and standing for extended periods.
Frequent travel to client sites
Some work activities will occur after normal business hours i.e. morning, evenings and weekends.

POSITION TYPE:
Permanent, Full-Time - 40 hours per week
Wage $25.00 (CAD) per hour
Incremental wage raise available based on the current rate of inflation
