Join the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre team as an Accounting & Executive Assistant. This in-person role encompasses HR and accounting functions alongside project management support.
As a union-exempt role under the Accounting Manager, you will handle payroll, HR administrative tasks, and facilitate effective data management. Experienced candidates with a background in the non-profit sector and project planning will excel. You'll also be responsible for gathering reporting information and facilitating explicit internal communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer payroll processing and HR-related documentation
• Create records for ongoing projects and their progress
• Schedule and organize meetings and training opportunities
• Process bi-monthly payroll and maintain accrual reports
• Ensure effective flow of information across the organization
Requirements:
• Business or HR-related degree, or equivalent experience
• Minimum five years of administrative experience
• Expertise with Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Experience working within a unionized environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Contribute to impactful community services through precise administrative and accounting tasks.
