Enhance Métis heritage as a Cultural Coordinator within MNBC's Ministry of Culture. Spearhead resource development and deliver presentations to enrich cultural education.

The Cultural Coordinator supports the important work of the Cultural Integration and Resource portfolio. Focused on Métis cultural resource development, this position requires developing educational resources and facilitating workshops. The ideal candidate will liaise with communities and engage with cultural leaders to ensure authentic representations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research and create educational presentations on Métis culture
• Facilitate workshops for diverse audiences on cultural topics
• Offer cultural insights to MNBC staff and members




• Coordinate the development of culturally relevant materials
• Engage in grant writing for cultural safety initiatives

Requirements:
• Diploma in History, Social Work, or related area
• Minimum three years of teaching or resource development experience
• At least two years of presentations facilitation experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision

This role is essential in promoting Métis culture through dedicated resources and initiatives designed for community enrichment.
