As a Dietary Aide at Extendicare Country Side, you will work under the Dietary Manager, assisting with food preparation and serving within a 256-bed long-term care home. You'll ensure that meals align with residents' diets and preferences while maintaining cleanliness in all food-related areas. This role requires participation in safety and quality assurance practices within the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve food according to residents' dietary requirements
• Assist cooks with meal prep, including basic foods
• Clear plates,



load and operate the dishwasher
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of food supplies
• Assemble nourishment carts and stock kitchenettes

Requirements:
• Completion or enrollment in Food Handlers Program
• Previous dietary experience preferred (0-1 year)
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Basic English reading and writing skills
• Capacity for moderate to heavy lifting
