POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Director, Development & Engagement, the Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for all marketing and communications activities, including those related to departmental strategy, grants, newsletters, impact stories, media releases, website and social media management and the Annual Report.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Develop internal and external communication strategy, in collaboration with the Director, Development & Engagement.
Develop and maintain annual calendar of communications.
Plan, develop, implement and monitor media relations and community engagement opportunities.
Keep current on issues facing all client groups and overarching emergent issues facing women and girls.
Raise awareness of all YWCA programs.
