We are on the lookout for dedicated tutors with a strong English background, familiar with the Ontario high school curriculum. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree or B. Ed. experience. Being able to tutor additional subjects is a plus but not essential.
You will provide online sessions, monitor student progress, and partner with parents to develop personalized learning plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate online English tutoring for high school students
- Assess student's current skill level and provide guidance
- Collaborate with parents for personalized education plans
- Assist students with homework and concept understanding
- Be a relatable mentor and support figure
Requirements:
- Fluent in English for effective tutoring
- Bachelor’s Degree or B. Ed. achieved or in progress
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching in Ontario
- Knowledge of the Ontario high school curriculum
- Valuable internet access and capable computer setup
