Join Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre as a part time Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy. This role focuses on delivering quality nursing care to surgical patients in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

As a key member of the Surgical Services team, you'll report to the Manager while executing responsibilities that align with the philosophy of Patient and Family Centred Care. Your experience will include pre and postoperative care for complex patients, alongside assisting with endoscopic procedures.

This position requires strong interprofessional skills and an emphasis on monitoring patients receiving sedation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide quality care for complex surgical patients
- Assist with endoscopic procedures, including biopsies




- Manage patients under conscious sedation
- Utilize the nursing process for individualized care planning
- Communicate effectively within an interprofessional team

Requirements:

- Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BCLS certification
- Experience in surgical nursing and care for postoperative patients
- Ability to manage multiple nursing tasks
- Strong knowledge of central venous line management
