Aspira Peninsula Retirement Living is seeking a dedicated Recreation Assistant and Driver for its Surrey location. In this full-time role, you'll provide essential support to seniors while facilitating enjoyable activities and trips.

This permanent position includes 75 hours bi-weekly, allowing you to make a real difference in the lives of residents. As a Recreation Assistant/Driver, your responsibilities will include transporting residents to outings, setting up social events, and helping monitor their engagement. Your efforts will help foster a sense of community and connection in the retirement home.

Key Responsibilities: • Transport residents for trips, shopping,



and events • Organize activity areas and assist residents when required • Track residents' progress and interests for program tailoring • Encourage social interaction via planned activities • Keep detailed records of programs and feedback

Requirements: • Diploma or degree in recreation or related area • Valid Class 4 or equivalent Driver’s License • Proven experience with seniors and leisure motivation • Solid computer skills and understanding of leisure principles • Successful completion of background checks
