As the Programs Coordinator, you will oversee the scheduling of meaningful activities for residents at Generations Toronto. This includes planning recreational and social programs that honor the diverse needs and backgrounds of the residents, as well as coordinating the volunteer program and addressing any concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and manage resident recreational activities
• Maintain a robust calendar of community events
• Organize entertainment, outings, and special programs
• Oversee the Volunteer Program and manage placements
• Respond to family and resident inquiries appropriately
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Kinesiology, Gerontology, or similar
• Relevant experience in recreation services for seniors
• Secure food handling certification required
• Certificate in Volunteer Management preferred
