Pay Rate: $32.00 – $45.00 CAD / hour ($50,000 – $70,000 CAD annualized equivalent depending on experience)

We are a fast-growing, data-driven company hiring a part-time Technical Operations & Code Specialist to maintain and improve our internal systems, reporting dashboards, and automation workflows.

We integrate platforms like Shopify, Recharge, Klaviyo, Google Sheets, Apps Script, and custom databases, using contemporary AI tools like Claude across our operational stack.

We need someone with solid core programming skills who can review, debug, and optimize code efficiently. In this role, you will take ownership of existing scripts and tools, troubleshoot broken API integrations or data mismatches, and build clean new reporting pipelines from plain-English briefs.

If you know how to write solid code, understand data structures, and leverage AI to build and fix tools quickly, you will thrive here.

What You'll Do

- Debug & Fix Internal Tools: Troubleshoot broken scripts, API integrations, and dashboards to resolve underlying issues properly and ensure reliable performance.

- Build Reporting & Dashboards: Turn plain-English requirements into clean sales reporting, finance views, subscription analytics, and operational databases.

- Data Pipeline Maintenance: Keep data moving smoothly between Shopify, Recharge, Klaviyo, Google Sheets, and custom frontends so metrics match across all systems.

- Optimize Code & AI Workflows: Write efficient, readable code and help structure technical workflows so tools run cleanly without wasting compute or developer time.

- Clear Documentation:



Document your work simply so non-technical team members can understand and operate the tools you build.

Our Tech Stack

You do not need deep expertise in every single tool, but familiarity across this stack is preferred:

- AI Development: Claude and AI-assisted development tools.
- Languages & Automation: Python, JavaScript / Node.js, Google Apps Script, Make / n8n / Zapier.
- E-Commerce & APIs: Shopify (Admin API, Flow, metafields), Recharge, Klaviyo.
- Data & BI: Google Sheets, Google Cloud / BigQuery, Looker Studio, Metabase, Retool, or custom frontends.
