About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee their vehicle maintenance operations in Kimberley. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of the company's fleet. You will be responsible for managing maintenance schedules, leading a team of technicians, and controlling costs associated with vehicle upkeep. The ideal candidate has a solid background in automotive maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence within the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for the fleet.
- Supervise and manage a team of mechanics and technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Diagnose complex mechanical issues and ensure timely and effective repairs.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and control maintenance-related expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.




- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and vehicle history.

Requirements

- Significant experience in fleet management or automotive maintenance management.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques for various vehicle types.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Experience with maintenance scheduling software and inventory control.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license required; must be able to work on-site in Kimberley.
