As part of its continued growth, our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who wishes to join a energetic team and contribute to the realization of stimulating projects that will have a tangible impact on tomorrow’s built environment. Key Responsibilities As a Mechanical Engineer, you will participate in the entire project lifecycle, from design through commissioning. Design and coordinate building mechanical systems, including ventilation, heating, air conditioning, plumbing, piping, and building automation systems; Perform engineering calculations required for the sizing of networks, equipment, and mechanical system performance; Prepare, review, and approve plans, specifications, details, field surveys, schematics, and technical documentation; Ensure designscomply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations; Collaborate with electrical, structural, architectural, and construction teams to ensure optimal systems integration; Participate insite surveys, field visits, and coordination meetings; Review shop drawings, change requests,
and equivalency proposals; Identify technical challenges and recommend solutions aligned with project objectives; Mentor and support technicians, Engineers-in-Training (EITs), and other team members; Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards, processes, Revit templates, and technological tools. Profile Sought Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ); Experience in the design of mechanical systems for buildings or infrastructure projects; Strong knowledge of applicable Quebec codes and standards; Proficiency with design and coordination tools such as Revit; Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills; Collaborative mindset, autonomy, and sound professional judgment; Natural leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams; Strong interest in innovation, continuous improvement, and value-added projects.
